Good Morning Crafty Friends

Happy Saturday, what do you have planned for the weekend. We are off to Oulton Park for the Mini Show.
Hoping the weather is kind to us (fingers crossed)

Anyway the reason for todays post is we have a new challenge starting today over at A gem of a Challenge our theme this time is Let it Snow, this means we want to see SNOWFLAKES on your creations.

I love these card kits available from Pink Gem Designs, this one is called penguins with snowman, I used rainbow mirror card from Hunkydory, Snowflake papers from old LOTV pad and some small snowflake dies from the Hunkydory Moonstone Snowflakes kit..

The rest of the team have made some gorgeous cards so please pop over to see them

Photo Cards

Afternoon everyone,

Hope you are all well.. I've been going through my photos of un-blogged cards (there are so many of them) so thought I would stop back with a second post for today with another share..

A lot of my customers like me to make cards using personalised photos.. I have two cards to share now that I made using photos of the birthday boys pride and joy (their cars) lol

This first card I matt and layered the photo onto coloured card and teamed with papers from DCWV, these papers are really good quality and have a lovely shine on them, worked really well with this photo.. Then I added die cut letters and numbers to personalise...

Again for this second card I used the photo as the focal point, but for the background I used plain red card that I ran through the embossing machine.
Embellished with some dotty ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and die cut grandson using Crafters Companion family die set.

For the inside of the card My customer wanted a verse adding so I used the photo again but converted it to a type of watermark effect, so it sat in the background of the verse.

Enjoy the rest of your day

Penguin Light Me Up

Evening Bloggers,

Little later with todays post, struggling to concentrate today with a headache :-(

I was delighted to see my penguin balloon card was chosen as a winner over at Whimsy Stamps. Now you know how much I love their cute penguins so with the voucher I won I have just purchased some more penguin digi's.. I hoping to get some of them coloured this evening if this headache will do one lol...

Anyway I thought I would share a card I made the other week using another of the Whimsy Penguins, this one is Penguin light me up..
Coloured with Spectrum noir pens and Polychromo pencils, I used crystal clear sparkle pen for the lights but you cant really see it in the photo. I used some old Christmas papers from my stash, Lovely happy Christmas ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a few buttons also from my stash.

French Bulldogs

Hello Bloggers,

Hope you are all well..
I have another selection of cards I made over the weekend from a collection that was lying around on my desk waiting for me to use ;-)

This time the collection I used was from Making Cards Magazine, I always love to use there gorgeous free papers and toppers, and do have quite a stash still waiting to be used but as these adorable French bulldog images are sooooo adorable I needed to use them up asap lol..

Here are the cards and little wooden hanging plaque I made

I used ribbons and gem from my stash to embellish all these creations

All of the papers are from the Magazine freebie, I just matt and layered onto white embossed card or coloured card..

Loose sentiments from my stash to personalise each make.

Quick and easy designs but ones I am happy with.. Thanks Making Cards for another wonderful collection

Have a Good day, I'm off swimming with the boys and my sister and niece later, a break from the skate parks lol

crohet, sewing or knitting???

Happy Monday Bloggers,

How was your weekend? Did you manage to get any crafting in?? I had a very productive day playing with lots of products that I'd had sitting on my desk..

The first lot of goodies I played with were this amazing knitting/sewing kit from Hunkydory.

I made a couple of exbloding boxes just using one layer.. all the papers/card I matt and layered onto gold mirror card (getting through loads of this at the moment)

The perfect finishing touch to this kit are the fantastic sewing ribbons from Crafty Ribbons..

I purchased these little wooden spools years and so just wrapped some old wool around to add to the centre of the box.

Not much else is needed to embellish, I added a couple of buttons from my stash. The kit and ribbon are enough by themselves.

Just shows how much can be made from one small Hunkydory kit.. I loved playing with these.

Thanks for stopping by today
